My favorite art project this year was making mugs on the wheel. I enjoyed it, because I found it both challenging, and soothing at the same time. My least favorite art project this year was probably a thumbprint that I traced on a projector, because it was extremely difficult to trace all of the lines. I feel like I have grown a lot this year as a creative thinker in art class. I have learned that not everything has to be exactly as it is in a picture, but rather that art is in the eye of the beholder, not everyone is going to see something the same way that you see it. In the same way, I have also grown to be even MORE critical of my own artwork then I was before, and I was already extremely critical of myself. This year I have learned how to use a clay throwing wheel, use TinkerCAD to create 3D art projects with the 3D printer, and make art with melted crayons. I also learned that if you are going to use a wire brush to clean a 3D printer, don't forget to turn it off, otherwise it may cause the whole printer to shut down and never turn back on. At least we got a new and improved 3D printer from that mistake. I am going to miss Clawson High School, and all of the support that I have received from all of the staff, even those who I hardly know. I would especially like to thank Ms. Homanick, the Office staff, the ASD program, Ms. Bowen, Mr. McCarrey, and all of the people who helped me make it through my High School "Career" with little to no major issues. Thank you so much for all of your help, and not just with academics, but with ALL aspects of my life. I never could have graduated if it wasn't for all of your helps.
