All About Me. Nobody Else, Just MeI am a senior at Clawson High School. I enjoy grid drawing, throwing clay on a wheel, along with doing sound at my church. My sister recently got married in January of 2017. My mom babysits five kids at our house during the week. They are 6 months, 14 months, 18 months, 3 years, and 4 years old, in addition to those, she also watches two 5 years olds when they are not in school. So as you can imagine, our house can get pretty hectic at times.
For future schooling, I plan on going to Oakland Community College to get my core credits done. Then I plan on transferring to Oakland University, Michigan Technological University, or Central Michigan University. I am not completely sure on what I want to go to school though, but I am thinking of doing something in the computer and technology industry. I have had 2 years of high school art. I consider the person who has influenced my artwork the most through the past 4 years has been my teacher, Mrs. Homanick. She has had a big influence in not only my art, but my whole high school experience. I also have Autism, something that a lot of people would say is a disability. However, my family and I don't see it that way. We see autism as just having a different outlook on life. My autism does not define who I am, what defines me is how I deal with having it. I consider having this "disability" as actually having a strength. Yes, having autism does make my life more difficult sometimes, but it has also showed me a different outlook on life. For example, when I see someone having a hard time doing something, I can easily see myself in there shoes, because that is how I feel many days. Autism won't stop me, the most it can do is slow me down. |
